VMware Horizon 8: Deploy and Manage is a hybrid course that combines VMware Horizon 8: Skills for Virtual Desktop Operations and VMware Horizon 8: Infrastructure Management. This training package teaches you how to provide virtualized desktops and apps using a single virtual desktop architecture platform. Through a blend of lecture and hands-on labs, you will hone your abilities in establishing and maintaining VMware Horizon® 8. You will learn how to create and deploy virtual machine pooling, as well as how to provide end-users with a customized desktop experience. You will also learn how to set up and operate a virtual desktop infrastructure platform. You’ll learn how to set up and manage VMware Horizon® Connections ServerTM, VMware Unified Access GatewayTM, how to set up a load aggregator for Horizon, and how to set up Cloud Pod Infrastructure.

- Access the visitor operating system by opening a virtual computer console in VMware vCenter Server®.
- Generate virtual machine images.
- Configure the guest customization options.
