The JNCP (Juniper Network Certification Program) is one of the globally recognized and well-accepted certification programs in the computer security track that validates the capacity of an individual to describe his/her competencies with Juniper Network Technology. The successful candidates of this course will have a clear understanding of the security aspects of a computer network and the details of Junos Software, which is developed for SRX series devices.
Juniper is one of the leading computer network equipment manufacturers in the world, who are producing network switches, routers, firewalls, network OS (Operating System), and so on. This globally reputed vendor specific company has started offering training courses on the professional development of the IT professionals, more specifically the Network professionals. Routing and switching are two basic components of any computer network, regardless of the type and size of the network.
The demand for Computer Network Security professionals is getting higher as the businesses are now recognizing the need for a scalable, fault tolerance, and enterprise-level computer network for their IT infrastructure. Upon successful completion of Juniper training courses, the candidates may expect to get any one of the following job roles to start working with their career:
- Network Security Engineer
- Enterprise Network Engineer
- Senior Network Engineer – Juniper
- System Engineer – Level II
- SeniorNetwork Security Engineer
- Computer Network Administrator
- Computer Network Architect
- Cybersecurity Analyst
- Computer Network Analyst
- Network Support Engineer
The key purpose of this course is to make the candidates well prepared for the Juniper Network Certification Program (JNCP) certification exam. Upon successful completion of this course, the candidates will have a clear understanding of SRX Series Juniper Devices, Security Objects and Policies of JunOS, Advanced Threat PreventionMechanism, Network Address Translation, IPsec, Unified Threat Management, and many more.
At London IT Training we offer on-demand Juniper courses such as:
- Juniper routing and switching service provider course (JNCIA – Junos)
- Enterprise Routing and Switching, Specialist (JNCIS – ENT)
- Enterprise Routing and Switching Specialists (JNCIS – SP)
Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Security (JNCIA-SEC)
JNCIA – SEC is an associate-level course and is considered as the first step of Juniper’s offered security certification path. This course is designed for computer networking professionals who have a minimum experience of working with Juniper Network Junos OS (Operating System) for SRX Series devices. This training source also consists of different modules including the details about SRX Series Devices along with the initial configuration, interfaces, hardware details, security processing, traffic flow, and vSRX.
The next module of this course focuses on Junos Security Objects, which includes Zones, Addresses, Screens, and Address books. Then, the Security Policy module of this course covers the topics included Zone-based Policies, integrated user firewall, Unified security policies, global policies, and application firewall. After that, the Network Address Translation Module emphasis on the source, destination, and static NAT. The content of this Juniper Network Certification Program (JNCP) course then covers the topics including the benefits, concepts, and operations of IPsec VPNs, which include IPsec tunnel establishment, IPsec site-to-site VPNs, and IPsec traffic processing. Then, the candidates of this course will learn about the Unified Threat Management (UTM) module including the concepts, operations, and benefits of UTM. This module will allow the candidate to explore the process of dealing with content filtering, antivirus, web filtering, and antispam.
Enterprise Routing and Switching Specialists (JNCIS – SP)
JNCIS – SP training course is designed for experienced computer networking professionals. All that you need to have is a basic to intermediate level of knowledge on routing and switching. This training will let you learn about protocol-independent routing and protocol-based routing, as well. Here, you will learn the details about different routing protocols like OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), IS-IS (Intermediate System to Intermediate System) protocol, spanning tree protocol, and so on. Through this course, you will be able to configure VLANs (Virtual LAN), Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), the concept of IPv6, Tunneling, and High Availability as well. To earn this certification, you have to take 65 multiple-choice questions exam within one hour and thirty minutes.
Juniper routing and switching service provider course (JNCIA – Junos)
JNCIA – Junos is designed for those who are willing to develop their career as a computer network administrator where they are required to deploy, configure, manage and monitor the network traffics using Juniper devices. This ‘Juniper Certified Network Associate’ course will validate the capability of the individuals to set up and configure computer networks using Juniper made routers and switches.
Enterprise Routing and Switching Specialist (JNCIS – ENT)
JNCIS – ENT training course is designed for experienced and expert IT professionals who would love to work with Computer Networking. This course’s content covers routing and switching implementation in Junos from beginner to intermediate level. This training course validates Layer 2 Switching or VLANs (Virtual LANs), VLAN tagging, native VLAN tagging, tagging and so on. This module also provides you with the required knowledge on interfaces and ports, Junos Network Director, and inter-VLAN routing.
