Microsoft wS-012T00-Windows Server 2019 Hybrid and Azure IaaS course are designed and developed for IT Professionals who already have some experience managing and monitoring an on-premise Windows Server Environment. One of the key purposes of this course is to make the IT professionals ready for designing, developing, deploying, managing, and monitoring environments that include Azure IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) hosted Windows Server-based workloads. In this course, you will learn about how to leverage the hybrid capabilities of the Azure platform, including the process of migrating the physical and virtual server workloads to Azure IaaS. Here, you will also learn about the process of securing, managing and monitoring Azure VMs (Virtual Machines) running on Windows Server 2019. In this course, you will be introduced to Azure Hybrid IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) with Windows Server 2019. Here, you will be able to deploy the identity in hybrid scenarios, as well. Gradually, you will also learn how to deploy the integration between AD DS (Active Directory Domain Services) and Azure AD.
Prerequisites
This course is not an entry-level course. Hence, you need to meet some prerequisites before getting enrolled in this course. Some such vital prerequisites for this course are:
Prior experience of working and managing Windows Operating System and Windows Server Operating System. It would be better if you were familiar with Windows Server workloads in on-premise scenarios that include DSN, AD DS, Hyper – V, DFS, and File Storage Services
You are expected to have the basic Windows Server Management tools and techniques.
You are required to have the basic knowledge of core Microsoft Compute, Networking, Storage, Virtualization technologies, and so on.
You are also required to have the basic knowledge on ‘on-premise’ resiliency, Windows Server-based compute and storage technologies, including storage spaces, failover clustering, and so on.
It is recommended that you have the essential experience of implementing and managing IaaS services in Microsoft Azure.
It will be an added advantage if you have the basic knowledge of Azure Active Directory, including multi-factor authentication, firewalls, encryptions, etc.
It would be better if you had the fundamental knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
